Cancellation Policy
Prior to 2005, World Council of Credit Unions held two meetings — the Leadership Institute and the Credit Union Forum. Though successful, World Council felt it could provide educational and networking opportunities to more credit union leaders by offering one, premier international conference each year. In 2005, the World Credit Union Conference was born.

CPE Credits Program
The World Council of Credit Unions offers Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits at the World Credit Union Conference, taking place 19–22 July 2026 in Sydney, Australia. As the premier global event for credit unions and financial cooperatives, the conference brings together leaders from around the world for high impact learning and unmatched networking.
Attendees gain insights from industry experts on key topics like fintech, cybersecurity, governance, and member experience, while participating in practical, action-oriented sessions. To earn full CPE credits, participants must attend all general sessions and one breakout per time slot, with attendance tracked throughout.
