Celebrate the final night of the World Credit Union Conference with an unforgettable evening overlooking Sydney Harbour. The Closing Party is included with attendee registration and select guest passes, with transportation provided from the Darling Harbour area. Join fellow delegates for a vibrant night of music, food, entertainment, and networking in one of the city’s most iconic waterfront settings.

As the sun sets over Sydney Harbour and the Opera House skyline, the venue transforms into a lively celebration space filled with music, lights, and stunning views. Guests can explore multiple areas designed to create a dynamic and memorable experience, whether you want to dance, relax, or connect with colleagues from around the world.

Food, Drinks & Local Flavors

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy a variety of food stations and bars offering a selection of international cuisines. The atmosphere blends Sydney’s sophisticated waterfront style with vibrant culinary experiences inspired by the city’s diverse food scene.

Live Entertainment

The evening will feature live music and entertainment to keep the celebration going all night. A high-energy live band will perform a mix of classic favorites and modern hits, creating the perfect soundtrack for dancing and celebration.

For those looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, an upstairs lounge offers a sophisticated retreat with jazz music and wine — the perfect place to unwind while enjoying spectacular harbour views.

Dress Code: Cocktail attire or business casual attire is recommended. While Sydney winters are mild, evenings on the harbour can be cool. Guests are encouraged to bring a light jacket, blazer, wrap, or coat for outdoor portions of the event.

Transportation Information to the Closing Party

Departure location : ICC Sydney

                            14 Darling Dr, Sydney

Complimentary Shuttle Transportation

Complimentary shuttle transportation will be provided between ICC Sydney and the Closing Party at Watersedge.

 

Departing ICC Sydney

  • Shuttle buses will depart from Exhibition Hall 1 inside ICC Sydney. Event staff will be positioned throughout the venue to assist and direct guests to the departure location.
  • Services will operate continuously from 5:00 pm with the first shuttle departing at 5:20 pm then final shuttle by 6:30 pm.  
  • Please arrive a few minutes early to ensure you board before the final departure.

 

Returning from the Closing Party

  • Return shuttle services will commence from 7:30 pm at the back of the venue at Hickson Road
  • Coaches will return guests to the ICC Sydney/Sofitel driveway only. Please note that return shuttle services will not operate directly to hotels.
  • Shuttle departures will operate throughout the evening, with event staff and coach coordinators onsite to assist guests and manage guest departures
