The Babbity Bowster was a dance of that time “Babbity” being "bob at the" and "Bowster" meaning bolster or large pillow.

Their French chef, Jean Claude Marcoccio, combines his gallic flare with fantastically fresh Scottish produce from the sea, the land and the air, to create inventive and tasteful food. The restaurant provides a wonderful atmosphere, which is heightened in the winter months when the chill sets in and they set the peat fire.
